Church: Generations Christian Church CFR Loan Amount- $10,000,000
As we prepared to relocate onto 30 acres in the rapidly growing area of Trinity in PascoCounty, we investigated many loan sources. After a highly successful capital campaign, we decided to partner with CFR for the loan portion of our relocation budget. We changed our name, from First Christian Church of Tarpon Springs to Generations Christian Church, but we haven't changed our message.
The relocation project consists of the construction of four buildings totaling 57,521 square feet. These buildings include a worship center with a 1,000 seat auditorium, as well as, a “Third Place” gathering room; a preschool and children's building; a youth building for middle and high school students; and, a maintenance building. All facilities will be used for God’s glory, and we thank Him for providing gifts from members and a loan from CFR to make this happen.(Hal Gumbiner, Finance Controller)

CFR refinanced the church’s existing note and provided additional funds for a capital campaign and building renovations. “Partnering with CFR allowed PBCC to accelerate several ministry opportunities that will position us for growth for the next few years," said Alan Tison the lead pastor. "The staff at CFR are both knowledgeable and thoroughly equipped to help churches fulfill their mission of reaching people for Christ. We would have no hesitation regarding referring others to CFR or using CFR in the future.”

Church: Harborside Christian Church CFR Loan Amount- $4,950,000.00
CFR provided $ 4.95 million in permanent financing for our new home in Safety Harbor on the northwest side of Tampa Bay. We are a body of 1,250 faith filled folks who love Jesus Christ and are working to lead people into a growing relationship with Him. We still find it a little hard to believe that we were able to purchase 40 acres of virgin land in the heart of Pinellas County. Our dream has been realized: Worshiping each week in an awesome 56,000-square-foot facility which God provided. God is good all the time!

Since moving into the new facility nearly 100 people have committed their lives to Christian baptism. River Run Christian Church has also gone from 500 on average in weekly attendance to over 1000. We could not have done it without the resources and ministry of CFR.

2006 - Kissimmee, FL
Church: Poinciana Christian Church CFR Loan Amount- $1,500,000.00
It’s a great privilege (and a lot of fun) to serve a church in a fast-growing area like Kissimmee. My wife and I often joke that the landscape changes around here week by week. Trees are cleared, old buildings are knocked down, and new ones rise out of the dirt every few days. And the new homes! They’re springing up faster than the weeds in my garden! Obviously, all of this translated into incredible opportunities for the church. But what church has all the funds it needs to buy land and build facilities adequate for the challenge? Without CFR we would not have been able to realize our vision and our dreams.

2002 - Jacksonville, FL
Church: Starratt Road Christian Church CFR Loan Amount- $630,000
We, at Starratt Road Christian Church, have been blessed by the CFR ministry. CFR provided the original loan to our “mother church” (North Shore). That loan was transferred to us, and CFR has provided three additional loans. The latest venture was a family center and the remodeling of our existing buildings. Our church has also invested it savings with CFR to benefit other churches the way they have supported us over the years. Many of our members have invested their savings and IRA’s to assist this great ministry. It has been a real blessing to us and we look forward to working with them in the future.

2006 - Jacksonville, FL
Church: Westside Christian Church CFR Loan Amount- $750,000.00
In 2001 Westside Christian Church of Jacksonville decided to sell their current facility, a 40-year-old building in need of renovation, and seek a larger parcel that would offer more expansion options. Within 6 months a 12,500 sf facility was planned on 12 acres in a growing area of the city and CFR provided the funding for the project. Later, with CFR again making it feasible by providing the funding, an additional 4 acres became available adjacent to the site and was purchased. The first service in their new building was held on April 1, 2007. In the first four months in the new facility, average attendance has doubled and 29 new members have been added to the congregation through transfer and baptism.
2004 - Winter Park, FL
Church: First Christian Church CFR Loan Amount- $415,000
CFR has helped us with our Christian school. A few years ago, we had an opportunity to purchase a building to expand our Christian education program both for our church and school. CFR assisted us in getting the necessary loan to swing the deal. With that loan Alpha Christian Academy has grown and now services students through eight grade. We have seen many students baptized into Christ along with teachers and parents. The school has helped the church grow in many ways Thanks CFR for your help.
2003 - Tavares, FL
Church: Mid-Lakes Christian Church CFR Loan Amount- $2,000,000
If it weren’t for CFR, we never would have gotten into our new building. Our attendance was averaging 450 during snowbird season in a building that could only hold 150 per service. Something had to be done! Because of CFR, Mid-Lakes is now worshipping in its new structure that seats 450 per service, and hundreds will come to know the Lord because we were able to build it and get out of the way-too-small building we had been meeting in. We thank God for the people at CFR, and for their helpful spirit.

2002 - Apopka, FL
Church: Journey Christian Church CFR Loan Amount- $1,600,000
As we relocated to our brand new facility and prepared to welcome hundreds of people into our Sunday morning worship service we were extremely tight financially. CFR loaned us $750,000 which was what we still needed to make everything come together. Aided by those additional funds over the last 14 months Journey Christian Church has welcomed nearly 400 new members into our fellowship.
Our average worship attendance has grown from 700 to 1350. Life-changing decisions are being made with inspiring frequency as people are baptized, connected in small groups, and equipped to serve. Giving has increased by approximately 40% and our financial future is solid. We are so thankful for CFR’s timely assistance.
2007- Tampa, FL
Church: Common Ground CFR Loan Amount- $750,000
On September 9, 2007, Common Ground opened its doors officially to welcome the local community. Every tribe, tongue, and nation came to visit us on our opening day.Since then we have begun the re-establishment of a new work in the heart of the city. People are being baptized into Christ and becoming an active part of the body through study and service to God.
I want to thank CFR for it’s help in this process. Common Ground could not have become a reality with out CFR's assistance.. The ability to leverage the equity of our facility helped us create an incredible tool for our neighbors.People have been amazed at the restoration of our campus.
The Kingdom is being expanded due to CFR’s generosity and assistance to this inner city church.
2004- Lake Wales, FL
Church: Lake Auroroa Christian Camp CFR Loan Amount- $630,000
Being the oldest cooperative ministry among our churches in Florida has allowed us to talk with many local and national lending organizations through the years.Only CFR has been willing (and even anxious) to step up and help us in the way we needed help. They have not only allowed us to accomplish our mission, but they have also been one of our biggest cheerleaders.Because CFR is willing to link with LakeAurora in its mission, God is glorified, the Kingdom grows and all the churches benefit.
2007- St. Petersburg, FL
Church: Central Christian CFR Loan Amount- $500,000
God has truly blessed us at Central Christian Church.About six and a half years ago, we were $1.7 million in debt. Unable to pay our bills, we were having a difficult time finding a new bank willing to work with us. We were given a set amount of time before our then current bank would stop doing business with us.I had partnered with CFR years before, so I gave tCFR a call.
Not only did we receive a loan, but CFR also assisted us with a capital campaign and helped lower our debt to $145,000.In our first year, we had over 450 first time visitors. We are meeting our budget needs, we increased our decisions, and attendance is running 75 more than what it was this time last year.Lives are being changed because CFR was willing to work with us when no one else would.
Dr. Prophete moved to Florida in 1994, and found some Haitians practicing the voodoo religion. He made several attempts to start a Christian church that eventually led to the birth of Eglise Chretienne Haitienne de Palm Beach. The congregation eventually purchased a four and a half acre property with a building that seats 200 people. CFR refinanced the church's initial loan which helped save more than $2,100 per month in interest. The church now plans on building a larger facility for worship, teaching, and education.
