A Demand Certificate (Ready Access) is a readily accessible demand investment that offers a rate of return with no early withdrawal penalties or hidden fees.

If you have a computer, tablet, or smartphone, you can move money in or out of a CFR Demand Certificate (Ready Access) any time. If you don’t have internet access or the latest technology, you can still transfer funds by mail, phone, or in person.

No. There are no fees to open the certificate, no cost to maintain it, and no charge for electronic fund transfers. You will not be charged any administrative fees. Keeping things simple allows you to earn more interest.

It’s your money, you can move it when you want. There are no penalties on transfers to or from your Demand Certificate. You can initiate transfers every business day of the year, excluding banking holidays, so you will have your money when you need it.

Fast. Receive your money the next day by electronic transfer. Wire transfers are also available if you need to send or receive funds immediately. The customary fee for a wire transfer is $25. Your funds are always at your fingertips.

You can request a transfer from your CFR Demand Certificate (Ready Access) to your bank or credit union checking account any time using the CFR mobile app, the CFR website, or by calling our office toll-free during regular business hours at (800) 881-3863. (Your prior authorization is required to perform phone transfers)
